Amalgama was formed in 2001. The band's musical style is a melodic rock influenced by bands such as Judas Priest, Scorpions, Manowar, Accept.
Throughout the career, Amalgama have performed more than 400 concerts and played as the opening band and special guest for bands such as W.A.S.P., U.D.O., Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, Airbourne, Demons and Wizards, Steel Panther, DragonForce, Sonata Arctica, Uriah Heep, Grave Digger, Ross the Boss, Paul Di'Anno.
In May 2019, the band has made the first European tour including 10 concerts in 5 countries.
In December 2019, Amalgama performed 15 shows in 5 European countries as special guest for U.D.O's "Steelfactory tour".
Amalgama was selected by the Judas Priest managers as support band for the upcoming concert in Bucharest on July 21, 2020.
